Restaurants, Playa
Manzanillo,
Isla Margarita, Venezuela
There are around 10 restaurants
along the beach and just behind it at Manzanillo, Margarita Island. The ambience
is quaint and the food and view are fabulous. The prices are lower than Playa El
Agua and it's generally less crowded except on national holidays.
We had a late lunch / early
dinner there recently. There were 4 meals of fresh fish with salad, potatoes
(either french fries or steamed) and arepas. In addition there were 4 beers, 4
glasses of Chilean white wine, and assorted cokes and sodas and the total bill
was US$25 including tip.
Remember that most are not open
at night. They rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach and have beach service for
drinks. They serve food until the late afternoon however don't plan on eating
after 4PM unless you make prior arrangements. Enjoy!!
